LE 10rd mag package?) on GB I'm really thinking about buying two of each and swapping the uppers/lowers and making two feaux 92G-SDs since I was never able to score one.

Along with a user selling some M9A1s for cheap (what's strange is they are the 3-mag "LE" item number, but with 10 rounders instead. I've been eyeing some of these new 92 Brigadiers that were just released. I think sight selection favors the Vertec/M9A3 slide at this point in time though. understand where you're coming from on the Brigadier slide.
Beretta d spring wilson install#
Need to install the G conversion levers, change the grips out, and install a flush mainspring cap. Installed a Wilson rear sight this morning, but haven't made a decision between fiber optic or tritium on the front. Replaced all the polymer bits with metal and installed a Wilson trigger spring and 14# main spring. Until I find one, I've been slowly putting my pistol together using a Border Marshal top half as a stand-in. I really like the LTT Elite, but I much prefer the Brigadier slide. That looks great! I've been keeping my eyeballs open and feelers out for a fairly priced Elite 1 pistol or top half for my build as I consider the perfect 92 to be an Elite slide and A1 frame. Trigger job is not complete yet, the original Elite hammer is not as smooth as I would like, still a bit rough. I fit it to the slide and put an o-ring under the bushing to keep it from unscrewing. It shoots very accurate and functioned flawless with the bushing barrel. Beveled magwell (standard on the original Elite) Original Elite hammer (probably will swap this out) Wilson trigger spring conversion unit (reduced power) Wilson trigger bar (fitted and polished) Accurized bushing barrel (works great, first one I’ve used)
Beretta d spring wilson series#
Works in the 92/96 and PX4 Full-Size and Compact Series firearms. I just tested it out last weekend.īeretta 92G Brigadier Elite (heavy slide and straight dustcover frame, decocker only) Chrome Silicon Hammer Spring (12, 13, 14, 16) A Chrome Silicon Hammer Spring that has been hand polished to better allow the spring to smoothly rotate in the hammer spring cup - improving trigger pull and spring performance. Started with an original Elite which took about year to find. It is just funny that I am starting to realize I'll have to "have them all". Your light of choice may also work equally well with all three rail styles also.

Of course this is personal as others would consider the brigadier slide a con, the vertec grip a plus, the rounded trigger guard a plus, or not care about suppressor compatibility. 3-slot rail for widest light compatibility.Ĭons: "G" sometimes harder to find, Vertec Grip, no trigger job available. Pros: Threaded barrel and 3 dot night sights standard.
Beretta d spring wilson upgrade#
Trigger job and sight upgrade available.Ĭons: Barrel is not threaded, 1 slot rail

Pros: "G" is standard, squared trigger guard, exclusive trigger guard undercut. Trigger job available.Ĭons: Barrel is not threaded, rounded trigger guard

Pros: "G" is standard, Brigadier slide, now has a 2-slot rail so will be compatible with more lights. Having Beretta USA build my dream 92 series pistol is awesome and I’m very happy that a lot of people will be able to enjoy this fine pistol model.Berettas seem to have just enough variations that you end up with many as all have some features you like more than the others. I feel fortunate to have been able to work with the fine people at Beretta USA to produce a pistol that, in my opinion, is an improved 92G SD. “Being a serious Beretta collector, I have always considered the 92G SD the best model ever produced, but almost too expensive and rare to shoot. The 92G Tactical is finished in Beretta black Bruniton and marked with the Wilson Combat logo and specially serialized to ensure its place in Beretta history.Īlthough the 92G Tactical has been optimized by Beretta to meet the needs of high round count tactical and competitive shooters, further customization and finish work is available through Wilson Combat. Wilson Combat G-10 grips, Wilson Combat steel guide rod and numerous other features to enhance performance. “Elite” style match grade stainless barrel with recessed target crown, the action features a “D” hammer spring for lighter trigger pulls, and Trijicon dovetail tritium front sight and Wilson Combat rear sight. This model also features enhanced accuracy with an Some features of the limited production Wilson Combat/Beretta 92G Tactical include steel ambidextrous decocker-only levers (G model), enhanced Brigadier slide, a modified M9A1 style checkered frame with accessory rail and rounded trigger guard.
